Echoes
There are many odd echoes and coincidences between our relationship and that of Steve's parents. Here are a few:
- We met almost 30 years to the day, and two blocks away, from where Stephen's parents met.
- Stephen's parent's share a common middle initial - J. We share a common middle initial - L.
- We share the same age difference as Stephen's parents - 6 years (7 years for the few months between our birthdays).
- On the day we're married, we'll be the same ages Stephen's parents were when they wed - 23 and 30 (Steve turns 30 a week before the wedding).
- Just like with Stephen's parents, our wedding has one family's firstborn son marrying another family's middle child daughter.
